Alex is ecstatic to be returning to camp for the third year in a row! Having previously worked as a counselor in the Film & Media department, he is thrilled to now be the program's Assistant Head, and cannot wait to return to the creative and inclusive environment that Ballibay fosters. Alex loves the opportunity he gets to teach campers about film and videomaking, and is excited to see what this year at camp has to offer!

Professional Bio:
Alex is a graduate from Bowling Green State University with a BA in film production, and an incoming Film MFA student at the Stony Brook University Manhattan campus. He currently works film industry jobs in and around his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, working as a production assistant on narrative feature films and documentaries. Alex has also produced, written and directed several short films, which range from heartfelt coming-of-age dramas to comedies about seatless bicycles.
