2024 will Grace's second year working as a cabin counselor and theatre director at Camp Ballibay! She had a fantastic time in the theater department last year, working as co-director of The Susan B. Anthony Project, co-director/fight choreographer of Treasure Island, and a coordinator for the night of Monologues and Dialogues. She particularly enjoyed her experience collaborating with her co-directors, stage management, production management, and design teams during each process.

Professional Bio:
Grace Gardner is a theatre artist hailing from Greenville, SC. She is proud of her work at the Fine Arts Center, primarily studying Design and Production with a focus in stage managing, electrician work/lighting design, and sound design. Her acting studies, also at FAC, include Bogart's Viewpoints, the methods of Tadashi Suzuki, and working with Shakespeare's texts. Her three years at Coastal Carolina University have including working on shows like The Beckett and Durang One Acts (assistant stage manager), Urinetown (assistant stage manager), The Green Bird (assistant director, Dancing Waters/Acrobatic Servant U/S), Saturday Night, Sunday Morning (sound designer), Cinderella (dramaturg), and The Puzzle (stage manager). She has also had training in several aspects of physical theatre, including devising and clown. Professionally, she has had the privilege to work with The Warehouse Theatre’s Upstate Shakespeare Festival (stage manager), Open Eye Theatre (assistant stage manager, Antigone U/S), and the South Carolina New Play Festival. She is proud to share her diverse range of skills with the students at Camp Ballibay this summer!
