Heather is delighted to return to camp because Ballibay combines all of her favorites: helping keep people well, being in the sunshine, and dabbling in crafts (eating cheese comes in fourth place). Her two sons are excited to return to Ballibay as well!

Professional Bio:
Heather has been a registered nurse for 18 years. She is the Deputy Director of Nursing at a community health center in Washington, DC that has an expertise in LGBTQ and HIV care. Her career has focused on gender affirming care, racism as a public health emergency, harm reduction, and food equity. Heather has a small woodworking company and enjoys building people custom furniture.
