2025 will be Isabel's first year at Camp Ballibay working as a cabin counselor and theatre counselor. She is very excited to join this amazing group of people and help make this summer an incredible and unforgettable experience for both campers and counselors. She is excited to work with campers to develop their performing skills and watch them grow in confidence and ability over the summer.
Professional Bio:
Isabel Scott is a 21-year-old Criminology student from London, England, currently in her second year at the University of Southampton. At age 15 she trained in Musical Theatre, Film & TV, and Comedy & Acting at the Pauline Quirke Academy. During her time with the academy, she performed at Her Majesty's Theatre in the West End in the production 'Trouble's A Brewin', earning a Grade 5 in Musical Theatre in production with Distinction from Trinity College London. She also took on a leadership role as an assistant director for the Pauline Quirke Academy and helped prepare a performance for the West End. At university, Isabel is currently an active member of Showstoppers Musical Theatre Society. Here, she has directed a full-scale production of The SpongeBob Musical and performed in numerous shows including Legally Blonde, Firebringer, Mamma Mia, Spring Awakening, Amélie, and Urinetown. Isabel's skills extend behind the scenes as well - she studied Film Studies at A Level, and wrote, directed and produced her debut short film 'Yule Be Sorry'. She also executed all creative elements for a 24-hour production of Hercules, including creating graphics, compiling the programme, designing cast clothing, as well as videography - filming and editing a series of behind-the-scenes videos documenting the process. This summer, Isabel is thrilled to bring her energy, experience, and love for the arts to Camp Ballibay, and looks forward to inspiring and supporting young performers.
