Professional Bio:
Kate is currently pursuing her B.F.A. in Art Education at SUNY Potsdam, where she continues to explore and expand her creative practice. While she enjoys working across various mediums, oil painting remains her favorite. Through her artwork, Kate often explores surreal and fantastical themes, using the creative process as a way to navigate and reflect on personal anxieties. In addition to her studio work, Kate has been actively involved in the campus art community—working at the college’s art gallery and serving as a figure model for foundational drawing courses. Passionate about arts education, she is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where students of all backgrounds can explore their own creative voices.
