Howdy! I'm a new staff member, previous camper. I have such fond memories of Ballibay and often blame it for my chosen career path and personality quirks. I'm currently studying Costume Design at the Savannah College for Art and Design and it reignited my passion for theatrical costume! I'm so excited to be a part of putting on the famous Ballibay shows and working with campers. Ballibay was the first place I felt I belonged, and I'm looking forward to providing the same fun, inclusive, and artistic experience I had as a kiddo.

Professional Bio:
Maggie is a North Carolina native, and grew up with a passion for theatre and art. From watching Into the Woods with her mother to participating in shows like A Midsummer Night's Dream at Ballibay, she loves it all. Maggie is currently a student at the Savannah College for Art and Design studying Production Design with a focus in Costume (B.F.A.). Before transferring, she studied technical theatre at Appalachian State University where she worked in the costume shop and fell in love with the odds and ends work like dyeing, distressing, and leatherowrk as Assistant Costume Crafts for their production of Men on Boats. Maggie has also served as Costume Designer and Hair and Makeup crew for multiple SCAD student films. Maggie is part of the LGBTQIA+ and Jewish community and is passionate about the respect, inclusion, and education on these communities. This is shown her work where she explores gender, religion, and queer love and joy. It is immensely important to her that every child feels safe to explore and create art however they wish.
