This is Mar’s first year at Ballibay, and she couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure! She is eager to share her passion for dance, inspire young artists, and immerse herself in American culture. More than anything, she looks forward to creating unforgettable memories with the campers and building strong connections with her fellow staff members. She can’t wait for a summer full of learning, creativity, and fun!

Professional Bio:
Mar is currently pursuing her university degree in Dance at the Higher Conservatory of Dance in Málaga. In June 2025, she will graduate as a Dance Pedagogue specializing in Ballet. Her journey in dance began at the age of five with Flamenco, and by eight, she had entered the Professional Conservatory of Dance in Granada, where she earned professional diplomas in both Ballet and Contemporary Dance. She is also an official member of the CID UNESCO and holds advanced certifications in both styles. Additionally, she has trained in Neoclassical, Jazz, Lyrical, and Ballroom Dance. As a professional dancer, Mar has performed with various companies across countries such as Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Namibia, and South Africa. In 2023, she placed third in the prestigious international competition "Vigo Porté", earning her a spot in the All Dance World Orlando championship, where she was awarded first place in Ballet and third place in Neoclassical, securing the title of World Champion in 2023. Beyond the stage, she has made multiple television appearances in Spain and has also participated in dance films. With experience teaching in academies, schools, and conservatories across Andalusia, Mar is passionate about education. Her ultimate goal is to inspire and guide future generations of dancers, sharing her knowledge and love for the art form.
