Professional Bio:
Natalie has been dancing for most of her life, but she began her formal training at Dance Moves of Charleston when she was eight years old. Her love for dance took off through her time with the Dance Moves Youth Company, where she had the chance to perform in a variety of pieces and attend festivals like SCADA and the Charlotte Dance Festival. She attended Charleston County School of the Arts as a dance major throughout middle and high school. One of her favorite memories from her time there is traveling to Pittsburgh during her senior year to attend the National Dance Festival with her fellow dance classmates. During this trip, she got to take classes from many different professors and choreographers, allowing her to not only expand her technique but also connect with other dancers from around the world. She recently earned her Associate of Arts degree from Trident Technical College and is transferring to Clemson University this fall to continue her education. Natalie’s connection to Annex Dance Company began in 2016, when she was invited to perform in the premiere of The Red Suitcase. Since then, she’s continued dancing with the company, performing in many works over the years, though most recently in the production of 'It's Itself'.
