He has enjoyed being involved in various amateur devised performances and more professional staged texts, including Caryl Churchill's short play "Hot Fudge". He is currently directing a production of the Rocky Horror Picture show due to be performed in early June 2025. He led weekly drama based activities and assisted with various student-led productions, such as an original winter holiday pantomime titled "Snow White, the Seven Dwarves, and a Gorilla". At Highschool, Struan was an enthusiastic theatre student, engaging with all school theatrical productions, playing roles such as, Danny Zuko in "Grease" and Harry Bright in "Mamma Mia". Additionally, he was lead singer of the Heavy Rock band "Fossil" which performed at various charitable and school events along Spain's Costa del Sol. Struan is currently honing his electric guitar skills and is very excited to have recently purchased a 1970s Aelita electric guitar from a flea market in Uzbekistan and is looking forward to restoring it!
