This is Tyler’s first year at Camp Ballibay! As someone who primarily learned tech theater through exploration and hands on experience, Tyler is excited to support the campers and staff at Camp Ballibay in their technical and creative endeavors.

Professional Bio:
Tyler is a theatrical technician and designer who specializes in lighting. For the last year and a half, he’s been active in Winston-Salem, North Carolina as a Production Associate for the local Arts Council, supporting a variety of theatre, live music, dance, and experimental performances. He also freelances as an LD, Programmer, and Electrician at a variety of venues across the piedmont region of North Carolina, has occasionally worked with local IATSE crews on touring productions, and has even been fortunate enough to do a little bit of touring himself. A lifelong theatre lover, Tyler grew up performing, and stage-managed while completing his B.A. in Computer Science, graduating from Brown University in 2022. After returning to NC and working in the arts community that he grew up in, Tyler is excited to continue his professional training this Fall as an Electrics Technical Intern at the Yale Repertory Theatre and David Geffen School of Drama.
