Una has happily been part of the Camp Ballibay family since 2008. All four of her children are Ballibay alum, counselor and/or current camper! She started working on campus as a Camp Parent in 2021, and hasn't wanted to stop since. She is definitely fulfilling her childhood dreams of sleepaway camp! She enjoys supporting the campers, wellness staff, kitchen, and whatever else needs supporting! She is looking forward to seeing all her Ballibay family new and old, and not having to worry about the question of the day “what’s for dinner?”. She is very excited to be in her fifth year at Ballibay, because she will be receiving her 5 Year Jacket!

Professional Bio:
Ūna was born in Seoul, Korea in 1968 & soon after immigrated to the U.S. She’s lived in the NY metro area for most of her live. And when not working with her community or the social justice sphere, she’s helping new families as a postpartum doula. She also manages her own family of four children, ages 14, 22, 23 & 28. She lives with them & her partner in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.
